COSCO Zhoushan repairs three Maersk container ships at the same time
In the middle and late November, COSCO Zhoushan welcomed three container ships of Maersk shipping to repair at the factory at the same time, namely \"mlaje\", \"Sophin\" and \"Luna\". During the repair period of the three ships in the factory, COSCO Zhoushan attached great importance to it. The ship repair system actively coordinated the production and management resources, which laid a solid foundation for the smooth sailing of the three ships.
On November 17, Maersk\'s \"mlaje\" was put into the factory for repair. Another ship of the same series will be repaired at the end of January. The main works include sand painting under 46 hatch covers, rust removing paint for connecting deck water and other conventional dock repair projects. This round of quotation is 14 days, and the project is finally completed on schedule.
In 2016, after successfully repairing and refitting Maersk\'s 4 K-series ships, COSCO Zhoushan once again obtained the repair order of Maersk\'s 4 S-Series ships. \"Suofen\" is the third ship of Maersk s series. The main repair works of this s series ship are: hatch cover, binding bridge, partial ballast tank, deck water rust removal and painting, steel structure engineering about 35 tons, maintenance of engine room equipment valves and other conventional dock repair projects. The quotation period of the four ships is 20 days. The repair works of the first three ships are completed in advance, and the repair period is controlled at about 18 days. On November 20, the \"Suofen\" entered the factory for repair and sailed smoothly on December 9. The resident engineer highly appreciated and appraised the successful repair of S series ships.
On November 23, Maersk\'s \"Luna\" entered the factory for repair. This ship is the first ship of two L-Series refitted ships. The project is for modification and routine repair. The main modification items are: steel structure reinforcement of 36 hatch covers, watertight upgrading and modification of hatch cover, upper deck reinforcement of engine room in bay48 area, upper deck reinforcement of tail part of bay60 area, reinforcement of 40ft corner base, reinforcement of hatch girth and ball The nose bow is renewed and the propeller blades are renewed. Two blades need to be replaced, and the trial run is conducted respectively to compare the fuel saving. A total of 3 docking times are required to complete. At present, under the reasonable planning and arrangement, the watertight commissioning of the hatch cover is carried out, the new bulbous bow has been completed, and the blue oil test of two new blades has been completed, and the production is proceeding orderly. In terms of safety, quality and production progress, Zhoushan Shipping Co., Ltd. has been highly appraised by the stationed maintenance crew. It is believed that with the mutual cooperation of the two sides, the ship will be put on trial on schedule and sail smoothly.
